Profenofos

Profenofos is a broad-spectrum high-efficiency, moderately toxic, and low-residue organophosphate insecticide, which belongs to the cholinesterase inhibitor. Individual optical isomers, due to the chiral phosphorus atom, show different insecticidal activity and ability to inhibit acetylcholinesterase. Non-systemic insecticide and acaricide with chemicalbook contact and stomach poisoning effects, conduction effect, and ovicidal activity. Mainly used in cotton, corn, sugar beet, soybean, potato, vegetable, tobacco and other crops to control pests (especially Lepidoptera pests) and mites. May cause cotton to turn slightly red.

Applications of Profenofos

It is a ternary asymmetric non-systemic broad-spectrum insecticide, which has contact and stomach poisoning effects, and can control cotton, vegetables, fruit trees and other pests and mites. The application dosage is based on active ingredients, 16-32 g/mu for piercing-sucking insects and mites, 30-80 g/mu for chewing insects, and 30-50 g/mu for preparations that have special effects against cotton bollworm.

Asymmetric organophosphate insecticides. It has contact and stomach poisoning effects, no systemic effect, wide insecticidal spectrum, and can control harmful insects and mites in cotton and vegetable fields. The application dosage is: Chemicalbook is 2.5-5.0g active ingredient/100m2 for piercing-sucking pests and mites; 6.7-12g active ingredient/100m2 for chewing insects.

How to use profenofos

For the control of mites, use 60-100 ml of 44% emulsifiable oil per mu, and spray 60-100 kg of water.

For the control of aphids, use 30-60 ml of 44% EC per mu and spray 30-60 kg of water.

For the control of cotton bollworm, use 60-100 ml of 44% EC per mu and spray 60-100 kg of water.

For the prevention and control of leek maggots, use 300-500 ml of 50% EC per mu and spray 450-800 kg of water.

Precautions for profenofos

1. This product is an organophosphorus insecticide. It is recommended to use it in rotation with other insecticides with different mechanisms of action to delay the development of resistance.

2. This product is sensitive to alfalfa and sorghum. When applying the drug, avoid drifting of the drug solution to the above crops to prevent phytotoxicity.

3. This product is poisonous to bees, fish and other aquatic organisms. Please protect it when using it. Do not pollute ponds and other waters, and do not pollute honey plants. Do not wash the spraying equipment in waters such as rivers and ponds.

Note: Do not use it during the flowering period to avoid affecting bee pollination!

4. This product should not be mixed with alkaline substances.

5. Try not to apply Insecticides under the hot sun, preferably before evening.
